Bibliometric Analysis of Scientific Studies Performed with Mathematical Modelling

Abstract

This bibliometric study analyzes scientific publications in mathematical modeling to identify trends and key contributors. While research showed an upward trajectory over the past decade, a decline since 2018 was noted, primarily in English publications. Internationally recognized institutions lead in contributions, often published by major publishers. The study offers a broad overview, potentially guiding future research. Distribution analysis considers contributions and country trends, with the United States leading but notable input from China, Indonesia, and Spain. Citation networks among authors and their affiliated institutions demonstrate frequent collaboration. In conclusion, this study illuminates research dynamics in mathematical modeling, laying groundwork for future endeavors.
