Abstract

Abstract

One of the most preffered methods for weed
control is application of herbicide in agricultural ecosystems Microbial
activity is one of the most important factors that determines behavior and
decomposition of herbisicides in soil. Carbon mineralization is one of the
biological indicators of soil quality while it reflects the sustainability of
vital functions of all living beings in soil. In this review, effects of
atrazine and glyphosate that are most used in agricultural areas for weed
control on soil carbon mineralization were summarized.
