Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

The International Journal of Language and Technology is an international research journal published on a continuous basis. It accepts original, academic, and ethically sound research articles produced at the intersection of language and technology, as well as translated works from different languages that meet these qualifications. Committed to the highest standards in publication ethics, the International Journal of Language and Technology adopts the principles set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA).

Manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, regardless of the author’s identity, belief, or political views. In cases of disagreement between reviewers, the manuscript may be referred to a third reviewer or to editorial evaluation. The review process is planned to be completed within three months from the date of submission. After editorial review, manuscripts are sent to at least two experts in the relevant field, and reviewers are expected to complete their evaluations within three weeks.

The International Journal of Language and Technology accepts academic studies in Turkish and English. It also supports young researchers by publishing qualified article translations prepared by undergraduate and graduate students, subject to editorial control. However, copyright permissions and legal responsibilities for such translations belong entirely to the translator.

As an open-access journal providing free electronic access, the journal does not pay royalties for published works. In accordance with its open access policy, it protects authors’ copyrights while encouraging academic sharing under the CC BY 4.0 license.
