The aim of this study is to evaluate the textbooks named “Musâhabât-ı Ahlâkiye ve Malûmât-ı Vataniye 5”, written by Muallim Orhan Fuad in 1924 to be taught in the 5th grades of primary schools, from different perspectives. For this purpose, the books "Musâhabât-ı Ahlâkiye ve Malûmât-ı Vataniye 5" were firstly analyzed subject by subject. On the other hand, comments have been made on the issues from various angles. The study is of qualitative type and was carried out by document analysis method. Among the findings of the study are how the concept of homeland is handled, the reasons for the establishment of the government, the advantages of the republican regime, the rights and responsibilities of individuals. As a result of the study, "Musahabat-ı Ahlakiye ve Malumat-ı Vataniye 5" books; It can be said that it is generally suitable for the 1924 Primary School Curriculum, the texts are arranged from easy to difficult in terms of form and content, they have the quality to improve the skills of the target audience and reflect the characteristics of the society that the Republic built.
