The Amasya Journal of Health Sciences (AJHS) complies to the principles of transparency, ethical editorial practice, and publication standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Articles reporting research studies submitted without prior approval from the human research ethics committee are not considered.

The Amasya Journal of Health Sciences (AJHS) is published three times a year: March, July, and November. The journal publishes original research articles in the field of health sciences. The journal's language is English. Submitted articles must be original and have not been published anywhere else (except for research results presented as abstracts in conference proceedings and published elsewhere) or have not been considered for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for the scientific content of the published article. Once a revised article has been accepted for publication, no further revisions to the article or author order are permitted. Each submitted article undergoes a preliminary review by the journal's editor(s) for suitability. If an article does not conform to the journal's scope, it may be rejected before the peer review stage. Additionally, poorly written articles may be returned to the author. If the article is deemed suitable for peer review after the initial evaluation by the editorial office, it will be sent to at least three reviewers. Articles requiring revision will be sent electronically to the author(s). Authors must carefully consider the reviewer's comments and explain each comment or criticism individually. Additionally, the author(s) must prepare a detailed explanation if they disagree with the reviewer's criticisms. If the article is not revised and returned to the editor within 30 days, it will be considered a new submission. The editor will make a final decision after reviewing the revisions and corrections made by the author(s).
