The moral development process in media education: A qualitative examination of "Survivor 2017" from the perspective of the theory of moral development

Medya eğitiminde ahlakın yapılandırma süreci: Ahlaki gelişim kuramı perspektifinde “Survivor 2017” üzerine niteliksel bir inceleme

Abstract

Bu çalışmada geniş bir izler kitleye sahip olan “Survivor 2017” adlı yarışma programının ahlaki içeriklerini belirleyen değerleri izleyicinin nasıl fark ettiği, anladığı ya da içselleştirdiği analiz edilmektedir. Söz konusu analiz birçok perspektifi barındırmaktadır. Analizin birinci aşamasında “Survivor 2017” programının sunduğu değerler içerik analizi yöntemiyle ortaya konulmaktadır. Elde edilen değerler ikinci aşamada Kohlberg’in “Ahlaki Gelişim Kuramı”na göre sınıflandırılarak programın sunduğu ahlaki gelişim düzeyi belirlenmektedir. Araştırmanın nihai aşamasında ise “Survivor 2017” programına dair internet forum sayfalarında yer alan izleyici yorumları incelenerek aktarılan değerlerin izler kitle tarafından ne ölçüde algılandığı incelenmektedir. Böylelikle programın aktardığı değer yelpazesi ile izleyicinin algıladığı değer yelpazesi ortaya konularak programın ahlaki yapılanma sürecinde bir eğitim aracı olarak işlevi tartışılabilecek hale getirilmektedir.
