In this study, the opinions of preschool children and their mothers on epidemic of covid-19 were examined. The study group of the study consists of 11 children who 6 years old and their mothers attending a private kindergarten under the Ministry of Education in Kütahya. Semi-structured interview questions developed by researchers were used data collection tools. In addition, children were asked to draw pictures with the given instructions and document analysis of the pictures was made. In the results of working; It has been observed that children have negative feelings about the virus, are most affected by social isolation in the process, they mostly get information from media besides parents and are aware of epidemic related terminology. It is also among the results that children are hopeful about end of the process. As a result of the interview with mothers; most of them stated that they experienced negative feelings, their children were affected by death and incident rates on TV and that they did not use any sources while giving their children information about this issue.
