Abstract
This study aimed to seek the attitudes of Persian, Pashtun, and Uzbek parents towards their daughters in learning English language in Takhar, Afghanistan. The research method was quantitative. The researcher gathered data from 160 parents purposefully in Takhar. The study instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The researcher analyzed the data by SPSS software version 25. The researcher used descriptive statistics to determine the frequency and percentage and inferential statistics such as independent sample T-test to discover the difference between gender attitudes and independent one way ANOVA test to determine the differences in the attitudes of parents according to their age, ethnicity, and level of education toward their daughters in learning English language. Finding of the research revealed that parents have positive attitudes toward their daughters in learning English language with no difference by gender, age, ethnicity and level of education. The finding of the study is vital because it exposes that Muslim parents are not against their daughters in learning English language
