Kanserde Fiziksel Aktivite ve Egzersiz - Koruyucu ve Tedavi Edici Etki

Year 2022, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 129 - 132, 31.01.2022

Abstract

Physical Activity and Exercise in Cancer – Protective and Therapeutic Effect

Year 2022, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 129 - 132, 31.01.2022

Abstract

Cancer can be detected more easily thanks to the developing technology and diagnostic methods all over the world, and it shows a rapid increase due to the negatively changing lifestyle. The development of methods used in cancer treatment has increased survival times and reduced mortality rates. Because of the cancer and the drugs that are that used in the treatment, patients often experience effects such as fatigue, pain, and decreased mobility, and all these effects cause a decrease in the quality of life. Regular physical activity and exercise play a protective role against cancer through different mechanisms, greatly reducing the incidence of different types of cancer. In the meantimeAt the same time, physical activity and exercise, aimed at approaches for increasing symptom burden and decreasingse in physical fitness after cancer, constitute an important part of the rehabilitation.
