Afet Hemşireliği Alanında Son 10 Yılda Yapılan Araştırmalar: Bibliyometrik Bir Analiz

Year 2023, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 477 - 487, 21.06.2023

Abstract

Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmada afet hemşireliği alanında son on yılda (2013-2023) yapılan çalışmaların bibliyometrik analizi yapılmış, toplam 617 makale incelenmiştir. Verilerin elde edilmesinde, Web of Science veri tabanından yararlanılmıştır. Web of Science veri tabanında “disaster”, “disaster nursing”, “disaster management” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak tarama yapılmıştır.

Sonuç: Sonuç olarak son on yılda afet hemşireliğine ilginin giderek arttığı belirlenmiştir. Özellikle COVID-19 pandemisinin literatürdeki etkisi dikkat çekicidir. Yapılan çalışmada afet hemşireliğine ilişkin bibliyometrik analizin araştırmacılara geniş bir çerçeve çizdiği ve alandaki eğilimleri belirleyeceği düşünülmektedir.

Researches in Disaster Nursing in the Last 10 Years: A Bibliometric Analysis

Year 2023, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 477 - 487, 21.06.2023

Abstract

community is capable can provide through local resources. This study was conducted as a bibliometric analysis study in order to determine the trends of the studies on disaster nursing in the last decade.

Materials and Methods: In this study, a bibliometric analysis of the studies conducted in the last ten years (2013-2023) in the field of disaster nursing was conducted, and a total of 617 articles were examined. The data were retrieved from the Web of Science database. The keywords "disaster," "disaster nursing," and "disaster management" were used to search for it in the Web of Science. The data were analyzed using the VOSviewer software program. The number of publications by year, the distribution by journals, the most cited studies, the most published countries, the most frequently used keywords, and the co-authorship dimension were all studied.

Results: According to the study, Elsevier published the most publications in the field, and the year 2021 had the highest number of documents on disaster nursing in the Web of Science database. It was determined that Leodoro Labrague received the most citations, while Jamie Ranse was the most productive author. The majority of studies on the subject were conducted at Sichuan University, whereas the majority of publications were published in the USA. In terms of the number of publications, Turkey ranks seventh among the top 10 countries. In the common word analysis revealed that the words COVID-19, disaster preparedness, emergency preparedness, pandemic, nursing education, mental health, resilience, and simulation were often used. The majority of publications on disaster nursing were published in the journal of Public Health Nursing, but in the Journal of Nursing Management publications received the most citations.

Conclusion: As a result, it was determined that the interest in disaster nursing has gradually increased in the last decade. In particular, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the literature is remarkable. In the study, it is thought that the bibliometric analysis of disaster nursing provides a broad framework for researchers and will determine the trends in the field.
