Nutritional Recommendations for Post-Disaster Clinical Symptoms

Year 2023, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 669 - 674, 21.06.2023

Abstract

Disasters are events that occur out of human control and may have an impact on individuals’ nutritional status. Two devastating earthquakes in the Southeastern Anatolia Region reminded us of various clinical symptoms such as crushing and refeeding syndrome, gastrointestinal symptoms that occur in disaster situations and the necessity of nutritional interventions towards them. In this review, clinical symptoms that may occur after a disaster are discussed, and it is aimed to offer nutritional recommendations and solutions for these symptoms.

Afet Sonrası Görülebilecek Klinik Semptomlara Yönelik Beslenme Önerileri

Year 2023, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 669 - 674, 21.06.2023
