Abstract

Music; it is the presentation of measured and harmonious sounds together in a certain artistic understanding to express an emotion, thought and idea. At the same time, it is the food of the soul for the lovers of Allah, it leaves an impression and excitement on people. In the context of these definitions, the recitation of the Qur’ān, which affects the soul and is adorned with beautiful sounds, and religious music are intertwined. Author Fatih Koca, who deals with the role of the style, attitude and style that has been transferred from memories to memories since the first half of the 20th century and learned in the master-apprentice relationship, in his work titled “Ḥāfīz Musikişinaslar”, the lives of ḥāfīz musicians who grew up in the transition period from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic, and what they left behind, their works and their services. It has been explained with the reasons for the existing negative attitude by mentioning how today’s memory and musicianship are met together. The aim of the study is to introduce this work, which was written on the ḥāfīz musicians who devoted themselves to music in history and to make some evaluations.

Hafız Musikişinaslar Osmanlı’dan Cumhuriyet’e Geçiş Dönemi Yazar Fatih Koca (Ankara: DİB Yayınları, 2021)

Abstract

Musiki; bir duygu, düşünce, fikri anlatmak için ölçülü ve ahenkli seslerin bir araya getirilerek belli bir sanat anlayışı içinde sunulmasıdır. Aynı zamanda Allah âşıkları için ruhun gıdasıdır. İnsanlar üzerinde bir tesir, heyecan bırakmaktadır. Bu tanımlar bağlamında nefislere tesir eden ve güzel seslerle süslenen Kur’an-ı Kerim tilaveti ile dini musiki iç içedir. 20. yüzyılın ilk yarısından itibaren hafızalardan hafızalara aktarılan, usta-çırak ilişkisi içerisinde öğrenilen tarz, tavır ve üslûbun günümüze aktarımındaki rollerini ele alan yazar Fatih Koca, “Hafız Musikişinaslar” adlı eserinde Osmanlı’dan Cumhuriyet’e geçiş döneminde yetişen hafız musikişinasların hayatlarını, bıraktıkları eserleri ortaya koymuştur. Koca, günümüzde hafızlık ile musikişinaslığın bir arada nasıl karşılandığından bahsederek bazı olumsuz tutumları gerekçeleri ile açıklamıştır. Çalışmanın amacı tarihte musikiye gönül vermiş hafız musikişinaslar üzerine kaleme alınan bu eseri tanıtmak ve bazı değerlendirmelerde bulunmaktır.
