Abstract

Meksikalıların ve diğer Latin Amerikalıların Birleşik Devletlere kitlesel göçü, Amerika’nın bunları asimile edip edemeyeceği üzerine bir tartışma başlattı. Paralel bir tartışma Avrupa’da, özellikle Fransa’da Kuzey Afrika ve başka yerlerden benzer bir şekilde giriş yapan Müslümanların bu kıta ve ülke tarafından asimile edilip edilemeyeceği üzerine odaklanmaktadır.
