In this research, besides the articles indexed by ULAKBİM and SSCI databases on language development in early childhood, articles indexed at COHE National Thesis Center, master's and doctoral theses are systematically examined according to various variables. In collecting data; "COHE Documentation System" was used for theses and "ULAKBİM Social Sciences database and SSCI database" were used for articles. Researchers examined (n: 77); Doctoral thesis (n: 7), master thesis (n: 46) and articles (n: 24). In line with the findings obtained from the research, it was observed that the most of the studies performed were 40.1% in the experimental model, and 61% of the study group was children. While the most studied subject in the field of language is foreign language with a rate of 15.2%, Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test has been the most used data collection tool in researches with a rate of 20%. In addition, T-Test 26.4%, Anova 18.2% and Mann Whitney U 10.9% were used as data analysis methods. While Ankara was the city where the most researches were conducted, the most studies were done by female academics. In addition, it is seen that studies on language development have increased in recent years. It was determined that education based on multiple intelligence theory, game-based education program, education technologies and material supported education, High Scope program and DMOEP contributed positively to children's language development.
