This study has been carried out to determine the levels of psychological capital and organizational silence in healthcare professionals and to reveal the effects of psychological capital on organizational silence. The number of health professionals participating in the research is 123. In the study, as data collection tools; “Personal Information Form” that has been generated by researchers, Luthans et al. ‘s (2007) "Psychological Capital Scale" and the "Organizational Silence Scale" which has been developed by Çakıcı (2007) and revised by Dağtekin (2017) have been used. SPSS 21 and AMOS 22 package programs have been used to evaluate the data. As the result of the research, the participants’ psychological capital (X̅ = 5.11±0.65) has been found to be in high level. Organizational silence perceptions (X̅ = 2.41±1.03) are at a medium level. Psychological capital affects organizational silence significantly and negatively (β: -.417; p: 0.000). It is stated that hope (β: -.399; p: 0.006) and optimism (β: -.335; p: 0.000), which are among the sub-components of psychological capital, affect organizational silence significantly and negatively. It can be stated that psychological capital and its sub-components are important factors in decreasing organizational silence. It is recommended to strengthen the psychological capital of the members of the organization in order to reduce the silence, which can be an obstacle in the success of the organizations.
