Abstract
The present study was conducted to examine the relationship between decision-making via the internet and health practices in pregnant women. The descriptive study was conducted between November 11, 2019-March 15, 2020 on 227 pregnant women who met the research criteria in the Southeastern Region of Turkey a District Health Directorate. A questionnaire form, the health practices questionnaire in pregnancy and decision making scale via internet on pregnancy were used in data collection. The mean score of the health practices scale in pregnant women was 123.01 ± 9.39, whereas the total mean score of the scale of decision-making via the internet was 31.10 ± 7.36. It was found that there was a positive and remarkably significant relationship between mean scores of decision-making via internet and mean scores of health practices in pregnant women (r=0.215, p<0.01). It was determined that the internet is effective in decision-making during pregnancy and health practices of pregnant women are at a good level. As the frequency of decision-making via internet increases in pregnant women, health practices also increase.
