HEMŞİRELİK ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN DERSLERDE TEKNOLOJİNİN KULLANILMASINA YÖNELİK FARKINDALIKLARININ BAKIM DAVRANIŞLARIYLA İLİŞKİSİ: KESİTSEL BİR ÇALIŞMA

Abstract

Bu çalışma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin derslerde teknolojinin kullanılmasına yönelik farkındalıklarının bakım davranışlarıyla ilişkisini belirlemek amacıyla planlandı. Kesitsel türdeki çalışmanın örneklemini, Türkiye’de yer alan iki farklı üniversitenin Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi hemşirelik bölümü 2., 3. ve 4. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 544 öğrenci oluşturdu. Verilerin toplanmasında “Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu”, “Derslerde Teknolojinin Kullanılmasına Yönelik Farkındalık Ölçeği” ve “Bakım Davranışları Ölçeği-24” kullanıldı. Çalışmada, teknolojik farkındalık puanı kuzey bölgede 79.48±12.86, güney bölgede de 77.38±13.46 olarak saptandı. Bakım davranışı toplam puanı ise kuzey bölgede 5.03±0.81 ve güney bölgede 5.01±0.74 olarak belirlendi. Kuzey bölgede bulunan öğrencilerin teknolojik farkındalıkları ile bakım davranışı puanı arasında bir ilişki saptanmazken (r =0.094, p>0.01), güney bölgede bulunan öğrencilerin teknolojik farkındalıkları ile bakım davranışı alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde zayıf bir ilişki saptandı (r=0.259, p<0.01). Öğrencilerin teknolojik farkındalıklarının ve bakım davranışlarının yüksek olduğu ancak sadece güney bölgedeki öğrencilerinin teknolojik farkındalıkları ile bakım davranışı arasında pozitif yönde zayıf bir ilişki olduğu belirlendi.

The Relationship between Nursing Students' Awareness of Using Technology in Lessons and Their Care Behaviors: A Cross-Sectional Study

Abstract

This study was planned to determine the relationship between nursing students' awareness of using technology in lessons with their care behaviors. The sample of the descriptive study consisted of 544 students studying in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades of the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of two different universities in Turkey. In the collection of data "Introductory Information Form", "Awareness Scale for Using Technology in Lessons" and "Care Behaviors Scale-24" were used. In the study, the technological awareness score was determined as 79.48±12.86 in the northern region and 77.38±13.46 in the southern region. The total caregiving behavior score was detected as 5.03±0.81 in the northern region, and 5.01±0.74 in the southern region. While there was no relationship between the technological awareness of students in the northern region and the score of care behavior (r =0.094, p>0.01), a weak positive correlation was found between the technological awareness of students in the southern region and the care behavior sub-dimensions (r =0.259, p<0.01). It was determined that students' technological awareness and care behaviors are high, but there was a positive relationship between the technological awareness of students in the south region and their care behavior.
