The Investigation of Different Fabric Structure used in the Manufacture of Sportech

Abstract

The increased interest in sports and increase in the number of individuals engaged in sports
has increased the interest of textile sector as in all sectors in sport industry every day in the
world. Sportech, which consist of sport shoes, sport clothes and sport equipment, are
manufactured in a way with properties to meet the needs and desires of sport industry. The
development of sportech which have advanced technology and superior performance is an
important subject in the academic studies. The studies reveal the contribution of the usage of
different textile structures as sportech to athletes performance and sport equipments. In this
study, fabric and fiber structure forming the sportech were examined and their contribution to
sportech products were uncovered.

Spor Tekstilleri Üretiminde Kullanılan Farklı Kumaş Yapılarının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Dünyada her geçen gün spora olan ilginin artması ve spor yapan birey sayısında meydana
gelen artış tüm sektörlerde olduğu gibi tekstil sektörünün de spor endüstrisine olan ilgisini
arttırmıştır. Spor ayakkabıları, sporcu kıyafetleri ve spor ekipmanlarından oluşan spor
tekstilleri, spor branşlarının ihtiyaç ve isteklerini karşılayacak özelliklere sahip şekilde
üretilmektedirler. İleri teknoloji ve üstün performans özelliklerine sahip spor tekstili
ürünlerinin geliştirilmesi konusu yapılan akademik çalışmalarda önemli bir yer almaktadır.
Yapılan çalışmalar; spor tekstilleri olarak kullanılan farklı tekstil yapılarının sporcu
performansları ve ekipmanlara yaptığı katkıları ortaya çıkartmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında
spor tekstili ürünlerini oluşturan kumaş ve elyaf yapıları incelenmiş ve spor tekstili ürünlerine
yaptıkları katkılar ortaya çıkartılmıştır.
