Uluslararası Öğrencilerin Üniversite Web Sitesine Yönelik Tutumları İle Üniversite Çekiciliği Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı uluslararası öğrenci algılarına
göre, üniversite web sitesine yönelik tutum ile üniversite çekiciliği arasındaki
ilişkiyi incelemektir. Çalışmanın katılımcılarını 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim
yılında Kocaeli üniversitesine kayıt yaptıran 134 uluslararası öğrenci
oluşturmaktadır. Veriler Web Sitesi Tutum Ölçeği ve Örgütsel Çekicilik Ölçeği
kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veriler Pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyon analizi
kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar uluslararası öğrencilerin web sitesine
yönelik tutumları ile üniversitenin çekiciliği arasında olumlu bir ilişki
olduğunu göstermiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına dayalı olarak bazı önerilerde
bulunulmuştur.

The Relationship between International Students` Attitude toward the University Website and University Attractiveness

Abstract

The purpose of
this study is to investigate the relationship between international students’
attitudes toward the official website of university and their perception of
university attractiveness. The participants of the study consisted of 134 international
students registered at Kocaeli University in 2016-2017. Data were collected
through the Attitude toward the Site Scale and the Organizational Attraction
Scale. The data were analyzed using Pearson's product-moment correlation
analysis. The findings indicated that there was a positive relationship between
international students’ attitudes toward the university website and the
attractiveness of the university. Based on the results, some suggestions and
practical implications were offered in the study.
