The aim of this study is to examine how five-year-old preschool children describe the concept of happiness. The study group of the study consisted of 100 children, 52 girls and 48 boys, who were continuing to pre-school education institutions in the Nicosia province of North Cyprus. Within the scope of the research, the following questions were asked to children: "What is happiness?", "Where does happiness come from?", "How happy are people?", "Why is it important to be happy?" , “What kind of instrument would you be able to make a tool for happiness ?”As a result of the study, it can be said that the children depicted by means of objects, persons, situations, events and experiences that they know more closely, based on themselves and concretizing the concept of happiness.
