Plagiarism is the use of others’ works (including but not limited to the ideas, thoughts, findings, data, etc.) in one’s own work without giving proper references to the original work. It is subject to sanctions in different levels dependent on its severity. Another form of plagiarism is self-plagiarism which is defined as the re-use of one’s previously published work without giving proper references.
IPSUS is against all forms of plagiarism or unethical act of copyright.
IPSUS checks all submitted papers before the peer review process and papers could be rejected in the first stage (Initial Manuscript Evaluation) by informing the author(s) if plagiarism detected. IPSUS uses Turnitin software to calculate the ratio of originality. If the plagiarism is detected after publication, IPSUS reserves the right to retract the article.
