A Research on Musical Life in Andalusia

Abstract

Muslims who became dominant in Spain for eight centuries, delivered huge works on science, culture and art to modern day. It is still possible to see traces of al-Andalus in many parts of the world on music arena. In this study it has been emphasized on Muslims music in Andalusia and interaction with other cultures, given place to important persons who have contributed greatly to the theoretical and in practice to Andalusian music. In the study it is also described Andalusia’s contribution to European music and its development

ENDÜLÜS’TE MÜZİK HAYATI ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Abstract

Orta Çağ’da sekiz asır İspanya’da hakimiyet sağlayan Müslümanlar günümüze bilim, kültür ve sanat üzerine dev yapıtlar bırakmışlardır. Müzik alanında da dünyanın birçok yerinde Endülüs izlerini halen görmek mümkündür. Bu araştırmada Müslümanların Endülüs’teki müziği ve diğer kültürlerle etkileşimi üzerinde durulmuş, Endülüs müziğine kuramsal ve uygulamada büyük katkıları bulunan önemli isimlere yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada ayrıca Endülüs’ün ve Avrupa müziğine ve gelişimindeki katkılarına değinilmiştir
