Abstract

The Prophet Muhammad has a number of beautiful names, like Allah’s most beautiful attributions. Some of these names of the Prophet have been employed by some Muslim poets in the genre of Naat. There is also the tradition of enumerating and explaining the names of the Prophet. In this article, we will provide the transliteration of Müstakimzade Süleyman’s (d. 1788) Mir’at al-Safa into Turkish. In addition, we will compare the distinctive characteristics of this poet to his contemporaries and predecessors
