Prophet Muhammad throughout his prophet mission has always pursued close relationships with companions around him and complimented men as he did women. Prophet Muhammad’s compliments became a treat for the companions that they did not forget or could not forget. He treated elderly, children, orphans and women differently; briefly, he gave compliments to each individual according to his/her state, condition and personality. In other words, Messenger of Allah, instead of paying attention to their appearance, placed a higher priority on their inner feelings, their spiritualties and their devotions. Not only have these compliments fostered the relationship between the Prophet Muhammad and his companions but also have motivated companions to put in effort to deserve his compliments. The companions also constitute a perfect example with their behavior significantly for our generation.
