A Study on The Rating of Distance Education Satisfaction Factors from Classroom Teachers: An Example of Giresun

Abstract

Today, the pandemic process that affects the whole world and the rapid development of technology have affected many disciplines as well as deeply affected the education sector. Education and training activities are carried out, especially by means of computers, televisions, mobile phones, tablets, and can also appeal to a wide range of ages. The Covid -19 epidemic, which started to be seen in our country in early 2020, has greatly changed educational activities at all levels (primary school, secondary school, high school, undergraduate and graduate). Distance education has been started at all educational levels. Based on this point, it is aimed to rate the satisfaction levels of the distance education method, which has just started to be applied, from the eyes of classroom teachers. Because it is obvious that this issue will affect the whole world as well as our country for a long time. Therefore, the distance education process is one of the important and complex decision problems as it affects the performance and efficiency of education and training activities. Within the framework of this study, an application has been carried out for grading the distance education satisfaction factors of classroom teachers working in Giresun. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used in the solution of this problem, which is considered as a multi-criteria decision problem. According to the analysis results obtained from AHP method, the most important factors were "Program Evaluation" and "Learning". The least important distance education satisfaction factors were found to be "Support Services" and "Effectiveness", respectively.

Sınıf Öğretmenleri Gözüyle Uzaktan Eğitim Memnuniyet Faktörlerinin Derecelendirilmesi Yönelik Bir Çalışma: Giresun İli Örneği

Abstract

Günümüzde tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan pandemi süreci ve teknolojinin hızlı bir şekilde gelişmesi birçok disiplini etkilediği gibi eğitim sektörünüde derinden etkilemiştir. Özellikle bilgisayar, televizyon, cep telefonu, tablet gibi araçlar yoluyla eğitim ve öğretim faaliyetleri yürütülmekte aynı zamanda her yaştan geniş bir yelpazeye hitap edebilmektedir. 2020 yılının başlarında ülkemizde görülmeye başlayan Covid -19 salgını eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerini her düzeyde (ilkokul, ortaokul, lise, lisans ve lisansüstü) büyük oranda değiştirmiştir. Öyleki eğitim kademelerinin tamamında bu sisteme geçilmiştir. Bu noktadan yola çıkarak yeni uygulanmaya başlamış olan uzaktan eğitim yönteminin sınıf öğretmenleri gözüyle memnuniyet düzeylerinin derecelendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çünkü bu hususun tüm dünyayı ve aynı zamanda ülkemizi de uzunca bir süre etkileyeceği aşikardır. Dolayısıyla uzaktan eğitim süreci eğitim ve öğretim faaliyetlerinin performansına, verimliliğine etki etmesi sebebi ile önemli ve karmaşık karar problemlerinden biridir. Bu çalışma çerçevesinde Giresun’da görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin uzaktan eğitim memnuniyet faktörlerinin derecelendirilmesi için uygulama gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çok kriterli karar verme problemi olarak değerlendirilen bu problemin çözümünde Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi (AHP) yönteminden faydalanılmıştır. AHP yönteminden elde edilen analiz sonuçlarına göre en önemli faktörler ”Program Değerlendirme” ve “Öğrenme” olmuştur. En az öneme sahip olan uzaktan eğitim memnuniyet faktörlerinin ise sırasıyla “Destek Hizmetleri” ve “Etkililik” olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
