Innovation and Performance: A Research on Firms Using High Technology

Abstract
The aim of
this study is to determine the relationship between innovation and operational
and financial performance of firms. A survey was conducted on 150 SMEs
operating in Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya with high technology. In the study,
Zhining Wanga and Nianxin Wang (2012) were developed and a highly reliable
scale adopted in international literature was preferred. In the analysis
results, there is a positive relationship between innovation and firm
performance.

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı; yenilikçilik ile firmaların
operasyonel ve finansal performans arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmektir. Çalışmada
İstanbul, Ankara ve Antalya'da faaliyet gösteren ve yüksek teknolojiye sahip
150 firma üzerinde anket yapılmıştır. Araştırmada Zhining Wanga ve Nianxin Wang
(2012) geliştirmiş olduğu ve uluslararası literatürde kabul edilen ve
güvenirliği yüksek bir ölçek tercih edilmiştir.
Analiz sonuçlarında; yenilikçilik ile firma performansı arasında pozitif
bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
