YK 3 BATIĞINA AİT İLERİ DERECEDE BOZULMUŞ BİR GRUP SUYA DOYMUŞ AHŞABIN KONSERVASYONU

Year 2017, Issue: 8, 139 - 151, 30.07.2017

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 1000-1300 Umax ile 0,07-0,09 g/cm3 arasında ortalama yoğunluk değerlerine sahip YK 3 batığına ait ileri derecede bozulmaya uğramış suya doymuş ahşapların konservasyon uygulamaları değerlendirilmiştir. Batığa ait eğrileri oluşturan söz konusu suya doymuş ahşapların konservasyon çalışmaları Kauramin yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma ile benzer bozulma derecesine sahip diğer suya doymuş ahşapların konservasyon çalışmalarının tamamlanabilmesi için YK 3 batığına ait ileri derecede bozulmuş eğriler üzerinden bir vaka incelemesi gerçekleştirilerek değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur.

CONSERVATION OF A GROUP OF HIGHLY DEGRADED WATERLOGGED WOOD FROM YK 3 SHIPWRECK

Year 2017, Issue: 8, 139 - 151, 30.07.2017

Abstract

In this study, conservation work was carried out on highly degraded waterlogged woods from YK 3 shipwreck, with  Umax values ranging between 1000 and 1300 and densities were between 0,08 and 0,5 g/cm3. The conservation of the highly degraded frames from the YK 3 shipwreck was carried out with Kauramin treatment. For the completion of the other conservation work on the other waterlogged woods with similar degrees of degradation, a case study was carried out using the highly degraded frames from the YK 3 shipwreck; and assessments were made based on this case study.
