About

Before submission, manuscripts must be formatted according to the guidelines outlined in the “Style Guidelines” section. Manuscripts that do not comply with the style guidelines will be returned.

All manuscripts assigned an editor are subjected to the peer-review process. Authors will be notified via email once the process is complete.

Manuscript submission dates: September 1–13, 2026, and January 4–17, 2027 (for 2028).

Art-Sanat is an international academic peer-reviewed electronic journal published twice a year (January and July).

Academic, scientific and original research articles in the fields of Archaeology, Art History, Architectural History, Restoration-Conservation, Museology, Fine Arts and Performing Arts are included.

All expenses of the journal are covered by the Istanbul University. Processing and publication are free of charge with the journal. There is no article processing charges or submission fees for any submitted or accepted articles.
