EL FOLLETIN COMO GENERO LITERARIO Y SU EVOLUCION EN ESPANA EN LOS SIGLOS XIX Y XX

Abstract

Roman Feuilleton (Tefrika roman), diğer adıyla gazete öykü serisi, XIX. yüzyıl İspanyası'nın en çok öne çıkan sosyokültürel olayı olmakla birlikte, yayın ve edebiyat dünyasının da önemli bir ürünüdür. Başta, adını aldığı Fransız kökeninin itaatkar bir taklidi olarak düşünülmüştür. Ancak daha sonraları ayrışan özellikleriyle kendini ifade etmeyi başarmış ve farklı bir çizgi izlemiştir. Bu çalışma, tefrika romanı başlangıcından itibaren ele almayı, zaman içinde sergilediği gelişimi ve alternatif bir edebi akım olduğunu göstermeyi amaçlar. Çalışmada, Benito Perez Galdos'un Tormento adlı romanında bu akımın parodisini yaptığının ortaya konulması da hedeflenmiştir. Farklı açılardan bakıldığında Roman Feuilleton, insanoğlunun farklı zamanlarda ortaya çıkmış bir ihtiyacı olarak düşünülebilir. Günümüzde tefrika romanların pembe dizilere ve fotoromanlara dönüşmüş olduğu gözlemlenebilir. Toplumun bu eğilimlerini küçümsemek haksızlık olacağı gibi, aksine bunlar XIX. yüzyılın kültürel görüntüsü olarak düşünülmelidirler.

Abstract

Feuilleton, in other words newspaper serial story, was one of the most outstanding socio-cultural phenomenons of XIXth century in Spain and also the product of the publishing's and literature's market  union. In the beginning Feuilleton was considered as the obedient imitation of its french origin up to its name. But later with its divergent characteristics it expressed itself and followed a different line. This paper aims to pre­ sent the story of feuilleton from its beginnings, examining it through its development periods, until the end of this alternative literary genre. It's also aimed to demonstrate how Benito Perez Galdos made a parody of the genre in his novel "Tormento". From various aspects it will be convenient to consider this genre as a necessity of the human being in different periods of time. Today the feulllietons have turned into soap operas and photonovels, and it's obvious that they should not be underestimated, on the contrary, they have to be considered as the cultural aspect of XIXth century.
