Abstract

Since the ancient time, the Arabic speech has been considered as an instructive building tool sought by any speechifier to inform his speech to others; and it is related to specific goals. From this standpoint, it was the beginning of the new speech which made its basic subject “the receiver”. And it is clearly seen in Breelmann’s quotation: «What we must keep from the old speech is the idea of receiver that directly comes to the mind when thinking of speech, and because every speech is directed to a receiver».This idea can be found in the ancient speech, however, the new speech did not just depend on the role of the receiver in decoding the symbols by language so that the act of comprehension can be done; but yet it overpasses the act of interpretation on the one hand, and the receiver has gained a positive role on the other hand. Moreover, he does not stick to what was imagined by the old rhetoric speech, but receives what he can perceive, think of it, discusses it and shares the informer the production of the linguistic speech. Basically, this research has come to reveal the nature of this special shift in the field of this new rhetoric speech.

YENİ RETORİKTE MUHATABIN MERKEZİYETÇİLİĞİ

Abstract

Eski zamanlardan beri Arapça hitabet, herhangi bir konuşmacı tarafından konuşmasını diğerlerine aktarmak için eğitici ve yapıcı bir araç olarak düşünülmüştür. Bu aktarım ise belirli hedeflerle bağlantılıdır. Bu durum muhataba dayalı yeni bir hitabet anlayışının başlangıcı olmuştur. Breelmann’ın da açıkça belirttiği üzere; “ Eski hitabet anlayışından almamız gereken, hitabet düşünüldüğünde akla ilk gelen muhataptır. Zira yine her konuşma bir muhataba yöneltilir”. Bu görüş eski hitabet anlayışında bulunsa da yeni hitabet anlayışı, anlama eyleminin gerçekleşmesi için sembolleri dil vasıtasıyla çözmede sadece muhatabın rolüne bağlı kalmaz. Çünkü bir taraftan yorumlama eylemi ihmal edilirken diğer taraftan muhatap müspet bir rol yüklenir. Üstelik eski hitabet anlayışının şekillendirdiği role bağlı kalmaz, algılayabileceği her şeyi alır, düşünür, tartışır ve muhatap hitabeti şekillendirmede ortak bir rol oynar. Bu çalışmada ise bu eski hitabet anlayışının yeni hitabet anlayışına dönüşümünü ele aldık.
