Year 2012, Issue: 20, 77 - 87, 20.06.2012

Abstract

Expressing a new art or literary genre is a problematic and challenge
faced by all those who perform that for the first time, since they should
find methods and terminology to express that. This is what the pioneer play
writers and dramatists faced in East when they tried to set up theater shows
or write plays in the nineteenth century.
People of those countries knew the art of theatre and brought it into their
countries, and they had to find new words and terms that reflect this new
art. Therefore, in order to recognize this problem and the ways to treat it, it
was necessary to study in depth between the eastern countries; Turkey, the
Levant and Iran, which were the pioneers of theatre launching in Ottoman
Turkish, Arabic and Persian languages
