Abstract
ÖZET
Polislik mesleği, bütün zorluklarına rağmen; bireye yetki, imtiyaz duygusu,
şeref ve bütün bunlar dolayısıyla bir tür görev hazzı bahşeden; âdeta bir sevgi uğraşısıdır.
Emekli sıfatıyla mesleğe vedâ etmek, işte bu itibarla fevkalâde zordur.
Emekliliğin giderek yaklaştığı zamanlar dahi polis için çok hassas, kritik ve duygu
yüklü bir safhayı temsil eder. Öyleyse, zamanı geldiğinde, polis emekliliğe hem
kişisel olarak gereğince bir psikolojik hazırlanma gerçekleştirmelidir hem de
teşkilât bu noktada mensuplarına, mümkünse ilgili bazı kurslar yoluyla, sivil hayata
yumuşak ve sarsıntısız bir geçiş istikametinde yardımcı ve yönlendirici olabilir.

ABSTRACT
THE “HORRIBLE” RETIREMENT HOUR OF THE LAW-ENFORCE
Despite all the hardships it entails; the policeman's profession constitutes an
almost beloved occupation providing the individual with authority, feelings of being
privileged, honor and accordingly a sort of work pleasure. It is just on those
grounds that it is extremely difficult to part with the job as a retiree. Even the times
when retirement is approaching represent a delicate, critical and emotion-rich stage.
Therefore; when the right retirement time arrives, on one hand a policeman should
prepare oneself psychologically for the retirement in a proper manner and on the
other hand, the organization may in that respect be helpful and orienting, if possible
through convenient courses, in establishing o smooth and problem-free transition
onto civilian life.
