14-16 Yaş Yüzücülerde Antropometrik Özellikler İle 50 Metre Sırtüstü Stil Yüzme Performansları Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 14-16 yaş grubu
yüzücülerin antropometrik özellikleri ile 50 metre sırtüstü stil yüzme
performansları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu çalışmaya düzenli olarak
yüzme çalışmaları yapan 11 erkek (yaş 14,91±0,94 yıl, boy 1,71±0,10 m, vücut ağırlığı
63,11±12,52 kg, spor yaşı 5,36±1,43 yıl) ve 5 kız (yaş 15,04±0,89 yıl, boy
1,64±0,03 m, vücut ağırlığı 55,60±3,91 kg, spor yaşı 6,4±0,89 yıl) toplam 16
sporcu gönüllü olarak katıldı. Araştırmaya katılan sporcuların vücut ağırlığı,
boy uzunluğu, kol boyu uzunluğu, kulaç uzunluğu, bacak uzunluğu, el uzunluğu,
el genişliği gibi antropometrik ölçümleri yapıldı ve 50 metre sırtüstü stil
yüzme dereceleri ölçüldü. Verilerin istatistiksel analizi SPSS 23.0 istatistik
programı kullanılarak spearman korelasyon analizi ile değerlendirildi ve
anlamlılık düzeyi olarak p<0,05 değeri alındı. Araştırma sonucunda; kız
yüzücülerin 50 metre sırtüstü yüzme dereceleri ile vücut ağırlığı (r=-0,872;
p<0,05) ve humerus çevre (r=-0,975; p<0,01) ölçümleri arasında, erkek yüzücülerin
ise 50 metre sırtüstü yüzme dereceleri ile femur çevre (r=-0,626; p<0,05),
humerus çap (r=-0,740; p<0,01), humerus çevre (r=-0,671; p<0,05) ve vücut
kitle indeksi (r=-0,609; p<0,05) değerleri arasında istatistiksel açıdan
anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu tespit edildi.

The Relationship Between Anthropemetric Features and 50 Meter Backstroke Swimming Performance in 14-16 Years of Age Swimmers

Abstract

The purpose
of this study was to investigate the relationship between antropometric
features and 50-meter backstroke swimming performance in 14-16 years of age
swimmers. 11 boys (age 14,91±0,94 years, height 1,71±0,10 m, weight 63,11±12,52
kg, experience 5,36±1,43 years) and 5 girls (age 15,04±0,89 years, height
1,64±0,03 m, weight 55,60±3,91 kg, experience 6,4±0,89 years) totally 16
swimmers who make swimming trainings regularly participated in this study
voluntarily. The anthropometric measurements like body weight, height, arm
height, stroke height, leg height, hand height, hand width and 50-meter
backstroke swimming degrees of athletes who participated this study were
collected. Correlation between anthropometric features and 50-meter backstroke
swimming performance in 14-16 years of age swimmers were studied with spearman
correlation analysis. All analyses were executed in SPSS 23.0 and the
statistical significance was set at p<0.05. The results indicated that there
is statistically significant relationship between 50-meter backstroke swimming
performance and body weight (r=-0,872; p<0,05), humerus circumference
(r=-0,975; p<0,01) in girls and between 50-meter backstroke swimming
performance and femur circumference (r=-0,626; p<0,05), humerus diameter
(r=-0,740; p<0,01), humerus circumference (r=-0,671; p<0,05), body mass index
(r=-0,609; p<0,05) in boys.
