Agro Science Journal of Igdir University

Agro-Science Journal of Iğdır University is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, and electronic scientific journal that publishes original, scientifically sound studies across all fields of agricultural sciences. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and other scientifically qualified studies in Turkish and English, provided that they have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The journal follows a continuous publication model, and manuscripts that have successfully completed the evaluation and publication processes are published electronically. All published articles are freely accessible under the journal’s open-access policy and can be downloaded in full text. No fees are charged to authors for manuscript submission, evaluation, or publication.

To ensure the evaluation process is conducted efficiently and appropriately, authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines, ethical principles, and publication policies. Before submission, authors are expected to verify compliance with the requirements specified below to ensure that the manuscript is suitable for editorial evaluation.

Pre-Submission Preparation and Checklist

1. Compliance with Author Guidelines: The manuscript must be prepared in accordance with the current author guidelines and manuscript format specified by the Iğdır University Journal of Agricultural Sciences.

2. Similarity Report: The manuscript must be screened for similarity using iThenticate, and the overall similarity rate must not exceed 20%. Manuscripts exceeding the specified similarity threshold may not be considered for editorial evaluation.

3. Article Title: The article title should be clear, concise, and representative of the content of the study; mathematical formulas and symbols must not be included in the title.

4. Mathematical Formulas and Equations: All mathematical formulas and equations used in the manuscript must be prepared using the Microsoft Word Equation Editor. External equation-editing software should not be used.

5. Cover Page: The Cover Page must be prepared using the current template available on the journal’s DergiPark page, and all requested information regarding the manuscript and authors must be completed in full.

6. Copyright Transfer Agreement: The Copyright Transfer Agreement must be completed in full on behalf of all authors, signed, and uploaded to the system in PDF format during manuscript submission.

7. Reviewer Suggestion Form: The Reviewer Suggestion Form must be prepared in accordance with the current template available on the journal’s DergiPark page and uploaded together with the submission files.

8. Ethics Committee Approval and Ethical Status Declaration: For studies requiring ethics committee approval, the relevant approval document must be uploaded to the system, and the ethics committee name, approval date, and decision/reference number must be stated in the manuscript. For studies that do not require ethics committee approval, an Ethical Status Declaration Form confirming that approval is not required must be completed and uploaded to the system as a PDF.
