Abstract

Eser, 1500 yıllık İstanbul tarihine tanıklık etmiş, bu topraklarda hüküm sürmüş kültür ve medeniyetlere sembol olmuş, bu medeniyetlerin tarihî, kültürel izlerini her bir taşında hâlâ yaşatan ulu bir mabedin -Ayasofya- nın pek çok efsaneye sahip olduğunu göstermek maksadıyla Dr. Ferhat Aslan tarafından hazırlanan doktora tezinin kitaplaştırılmış hâlidir.
