Abstract

Gülistan’ın Türkçeye ilk tercümesini, 739/1391 yılında Kıpçak
Türkçesiyle Seyf-i Sarâyî yapmıştır. Bundan bir müddet sonra
800/1397-8 yılında Sibicâbî adında birisi Gülistan’ı Doğu Türkçesine
tercüme etmiştir. Anadolu sahasında ise ilk Gülistan tercümesini
Mahmûd bin Kâdî-i Manyâs’ın yaptığı kabul edilmektedir. Manyaslı
Mahmud’un biri manzum olarak yapılmış ilaveli ve geniş, diğeri de
muhtasar olmak üzere iki Gülistan Tercümesi bulunmaktadır. Bu
çalışmada Manyaslı Mahmud’un muhtasar Gülistan Tercümesinde söz
yapımı üzerinde durulacaktır.

Word Structure in Mahmud Manyas's Gülistan Tercümesi

Abstract

The first Gülistan Tercümesi with Turkish is Gülistan bi’t-türki’
which was written in Kıpchak Turkish by Seyfi Serayi; the second is in
Chaghatay Turkish by Sibicabi. The first translation into Turkish in
Anatolian (Ottoman) era is the translation of Mahmud bin Kadi-i
Manyas who is one of the writer of Murad II and known with the
pseudenym “Manyasoğlu”. Manyasoğlu has two seperate translations.
One is abridged prose the other with additions, wide and poetic. This
study was made upon the word structure of abridged prose of Gülistan
Tercümesi.
