In this work, the memoirs of Selim Sırrı (Tarcan) about Sweden at the beginning of the 20th century, published in Şehbâl magazine, is going to be discussed. The purpose of this study is to point out how Selim Sırrı evaluated the city and city life, architecture and public buildings, social life, situation of women, sports, educational and cultural activities, health, charity institutions and winter in Sweden as an Ottoman citizen in the first decade of the 20th century. In other words, it is going to point out an Ottoman's Sweden perception.
