Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Title
- Turkish Title: Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, centered.
- English Title: Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, centered.
- Titles must not exceed 12 words, and the first letter of each major word must be capitalized.
- Spacing: 12 pt before and 6 pt after.
Author Information
As the journal operates a double-blind peer review process, author names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, correspondence details, and other identifying information must not appear in the manuscript file.
Abstract (Turkish)
- Length: 150–250 words.
- Heading: Times New Roman, 10 pt, bold, left-aligned; 12 pt before and 6 pt after.
- Text: Times New Roman, 10 pt, justified, 1.15 line spacing.
The abstract must be structured under the following headings:
- Purpose and Significance of the Study
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
Keywords: 3–6 keywords, Times New Roman, 10 pt, italic.
JEL Classification Codes: At least three JEL codes should be provided. (https://www.aeaweb.org/jel/guide/jel.php)

Main Text Formatting
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
- Line spacing: 1.15.
- Alignment: Justified.
- Paper size: A4 (210 × 297 mm).
- Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.
- Paragraphs: First-line indentation of 1.25 cm; no space before and 6 pt after each paragraph.
- Heading numbering must follow a hierarchical format (e.g., 1, 1.1, 1.1.1).
- Headings must be 12 pt, bold, left-aligned, with the first letter of each major word capitalized.
- Page numbers must appear at the bottom center of each page.
For manuscripts written in Turkish, terminology must conform to the Turkish Language Association (TDK) Turkish Dictionary and Glossary of Terms.
If any figure, photograph, table, or graph has been previously published elsewhere, written permission must be obtained, and the source and permission information must be stated in the relevant caption.
All measurements must conform to the International System of Units (ISU).
Drug names must be given using their International Nonproprietary Names (INN). If proprietary products are used in the study, the generic name must be given first, followed by the trade name and the manufacturer's name in parentheses when first mentioned in the Materials and Methods section.
Manuscript Sections
Introduction
The Introduction must present the purpose, scope, and relevant background literature. Where appropriate, conceptual framework and research variables may be presented under subheadings.
Materials and Methods
This section must include:
- Study population and sample
- Data collection instruments
- Statistical analysis methods
- Ethics committee approval information
Results
Results must be supported by tables and figures.
Tables and figures must be placed within the text. A maximum of six tables and six figures/images may be included.
Tables should be:
- Times New Roman, 10 pt
- Centered
- Numbered consecutively
Minimum image resolution requirements are:
- Figures, tables, and graphs: 600 dpi
- Photographs and images: 300 dpi
In addition to p-values, all relevant statistical results must be reported.
Interpretation and discussion must not be included in the Results section.
Decimal formatting:
- Values with a single digit before the decimal point should be reported with two decimal places.
- Values with two or more digits before the decimal point must be reported with one decimal place.
Tables and figures must remain within the page margins.
Discussion and Conclusion
The findings must be discussed in comparison with previous studies addressing all research variables. The manuscript should clearly state the study's limitations and provide recommendations for future research and practice.
References
References must be prepared according to the APA 7th Edition citation and referencing style. Authors must ensure that books, journal articles, theses, conference papers, and online resources are cited using the appropriate APA 7 format.
Technical Requirements
- All manuscripts must be prepared using Times New Roman font.
- Figures and illustrations must be submitted in high-resolution formats such as TIFF, PNG, JPG, or GIF.
Word Limits
Abstract
- Turkish Abstract: 150–250 words
- English Abstract: 150–250 words
Main Text
- Original Research Articles: Maximum 9,000 words
- Review Articles: Maximum 9,000 words
- Case Reports: Maximum 3,000 words
- Letters to the Editor: Maximum 1,000 words
The reference list is not included in the word count.
