Abstract
This article consists of an experimental research conducted to determine the relationship between belief in a just world and religiosity in adolescents. In the study, besides examining the relationship between belief in a just world and religiosity, the relationship between belief in a just world and demographic characteristics was also examined. The sample group consists of 428 students studying in five different secondary education institutions residing in Gaziantep. In the research, the personal information form and the "religiousness scale" developed by Gülmez and the "just world belief scale" developed by Dalbert were used. According to the findings, significant relationships were found between the dimensions of religiosity and belief in a just world in correlation and regression analysis results. As a result of the research, when the relationship between the sub-dimensions of belief in a just world and religiosity was examined, it was found that personal belief in a just world and general belief in a just world had a weakly significant relationship with religiosity. It has been determined that the dimensions of faith and emotion, which are among the sub-dimensions of religiosity, do not have a significant effect on belief in a just world, but the dimensions of influence and worship have significant effects.
