Gryodactylus sp. Infection in Cultured Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).

Year 2018, Volume: 3 Issue: 3, 141 - 144, 18.12.2018

Abstract

In this study, diseased
fish was monthly carried out parasitic examination in the fifteen different
rainbow trout farms in the Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey. The Gyrodactylus sp. was observed with
microscopic examination of scraping samples of the skin and gill mucus
secretion. it were observed symptoms of the disease as darkening of the color
of the fish, flaking due to friction and degenerations on the skin surface. İn
some advanced cases, ulcerated areas were also found in the skin. Gryodactylus sp. as ectoparasite was
recorded on the gills (1-5), skin (1-3), and rarely fins (1) respectively at
the microscopic examination of the fish. Gyrodactylus
sp. infestations were used for treatment with different concentration of formaldehyde,
chloramine-T and formaldehyde + chloramine.
These drugs were not effective for the treatment of
Gyrodactylus sp. infestations in rainbow
trout.

Kültürü Yapılan Gökkuşağı Alabalıklar (Oncorhynchus mykiss)’ında Gryodactylus sp. Enfeksiyonu

Year 2018, Volume: 3 Issue: 3, 141 - 144, 18.12.2018

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesindeki on beş farklı gökkuşağı alabalığı
çiftliklerindeki balıklar aylık olarak parazit yönünden kontrol edildi. Hastalıklı
balıkların yüzgeçleri, deri ve solungaç mukus sekresyonlarının kazıma
örneklerinin mikroskobik incelemesi ile Gyrodactylus
sp.’nin varlığı gözlemlenildi. Hastalık belirtisi olarak balıklarda renkte
kararma, deri üzerinde sürtünmeye bağlı pul dökülmesi ve dejenerasyonlara
rastlanıldı. Bazı ileri vakalarda deride ülserli bölgeler de rastlanıldı.
Balıklardan yapılan kazıntılarda birey başına solungaçlarda 1-5, deride 1-3 ve
nadiren deride 1 adet Gyrodactylus
sp. tespit edildi. Gyrodactylus sp. enfeksiyonlarında
formaldehit, kloramin-T and formaldehit + kloramin-T’nin farklı dozları tedavi
amacıyla kullanıldı. Bu ilaçlar, gökkuşağı alabalığındaki Gyrodactylus sp. enfeksiyonlarının tedavisinde etkili değildi.
