Akut Lenfoblastik Lösemi tanısı ile izlenen bir çocuk hastada EsherichiaColi ile enfekteektravazasyon yarasının bal ile tedavisi

Abstract

Yoğun  bakım  ünitesinde  ekstravazasyona  bağlı  yara  oluşumu  nadir  değildir.  Tedavide 

kullanılan  güncel  yara  bakım  ürünleri,  kurum  ödemesi  olmaması  nedeniyle  sıklıkla  temin 

edilememektedir.  Bal  ise  yüzyıllardır  yara  bakımında  kullanılan  bir  üründür.  Bal  içerdiği 

antimikrobiyal  maddeler,  yüksek  ozmotik  basınç,  düşük  pH,  yüksek  şeker  içeriği,  hidrojen 

peroksit oluşumu nedeniyle bakteriyel kolonizasyon olan yaralarda oldukça etkilidir. 

Bu  yazıda,  enfekte  ekstravazasyon  yarasının  bal  ile  başarılı  bir  şekilde  tedavi  edildiği 

hastamızı,  güncel  yara  bakım  tedavisinde  ucuz  ve  kolay  temin  edilen  bir  ajan  olan  balın 

rahatlıkla kullanılabileceğine dikkati çekmek amacı ile sunduk.
