TİROİD BEZİNİN KORELATİF GÖRÜNTÜLEMESİ

Abstract

Tiroid bezinin
değerlendirilmesinde ilk yöntem ayrıntılı fizik muayenedir. Tiroid sintigrafisi
fonksiyonel görüntüleme sağlamaktadır. Tiroid bezi görüntülemede hastaya
herhangi bir radyasyon vermeksizin uygulanan, morfolojik bilgi sağlayan ve yaygın
olarak bulunan yöntem tiroid ultrasonografisidir (USG). Kesitsel görüntüleme
yöntemleri olan Bilgisayarlı Tomografi (BT) ve Manyetik rezonans görüntüleme
(MR) yöntemleri; tiroit görüntülemede ilk başvurulan yöntemler değildirler. Ancak
tiroid kanserinde ve diğer yöntemlerle ayrımlaştırılamayan lezyonların ayırıcı
tanısında BT ve MR kullanılmaktadır. Bu yazıda, tiroid görüntülemede
sintigrafi, USG, BT ve MR’ın endikasyonları ile her bir yöntemin birbirine göre
avantaj ve dezavantajlarını tartıştık.
