Submucosal myoma prolapsed into vagina as an etiology of non-puerperal uterine inversion: Case report with magnetic resonance findings
Abstract
Non-puerperal uterine
inversion is gynaecological entity
usually caused by submucosal or cervical myomas. Magnetic resonance
findings of a 25-year-old nulliparous woman who is presented with uterine
inversion due to submucosal myoma prolapsed into vagina was discussed
accompanied by literature. Clinical diagnosis of this complication is not
usually easy and this entity generally requires surgical treatment. Considering
the rarity of this entity, radiological diagnosis of it will probably increase
the chance of early intervention.

Non-puerperal Uterin İnversiyon Etyolojisinde Vajene Doğmuş Submuköz Miyom : Manyetik Rezonans Bulguları Eşliğinde Olgu Sunumu
Abstract
Non-puerperal uterin inversiyon olduça nadir
görülen, genellikle submukozal ya da servikal yerleşim gösteren miyomlara sekonder
gelişen bir jinekolojik tablodur. 25 yaşında nullipar kadın olguda, submuköz miyom
nedeniyle ortaya çıkan vajene protrüzyon
gösteren uterin inversiyon olgusunun
manyetik rezonans görüntüleme bulguları literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır. Nadir olması
da göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, klinik tanısı her zaman kolay olmayan bu
komplikasyonun, radyolojik olarak tanı alması, genellikle cerrahi gerektiren
tablonun erken müdahale şansını artıracaktır.
