Abstract
Today, computers have influenced many areas directly or indirectly, with their location producing and transmitting information. One of the directly affected areas was graphic design. For this reason, it has become important to conduct graphic design education in accordance with the requirements of the age. The aim of this research is to learn the opinions of the lecturers about the compatibility of graphic design education with the requirements of the age. The research was formed by using the case study method, one of the qualitative research methods, and the criterion sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods, and the easy sampling method. One-on-one interviews were held with nine lecturers using a semi-structured and unstructured interview form in order to learn the opinions of the instructors about the suitability of graphic design education to the requirements of the age. In accordance with the purpose of the research, the data collected from the academics with the interview forms were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The themes and codes reached as a result of the content analysis were determined by the researcher with the NVIVO 12 program and checked by the experts. The findings obtained from the analyzed data were interpreted considering the integrity of the meaning.
