JASAM aims to:
Journal of Aerospace Science and Management (JASAM) is the scientific publication of the Aviation Application and Research Center at Erciyes University. It is published twice a year, in June and December. JASAM being launched in 2022, is a peer-reviewed, open access, scientific journal.
The journal publishes original research articles, case studies, invited and editor-approved reviews, short communications, and letters to the editor in Turkish or English that have not been previously submitted simultaneously to another journal and cover the following areas:
The Journal of Aerospace Science and Management (JASAM) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that bridges the gap between aerospace engineering technologies and aviation management strategies.
The primary aim of JASAM is to provide a unified platform for researchers, engineers, and industry practitioners to share cutting-edge theoretical and applied research. The journal welcomes studies that address the complex challenges of the aerospace ecosystem, ranging from aircraft design and materials to operational efficiency and safety management.
Scope JASAM focuses on two main pillars of the aviation industry:
1. Aerospace Engineering & Technology
Aircraft Structures & Materials: Aero-materials, composite structures, structural mechanics, and additive manufacturing in aerospace.
Flight Sciences: Aerodynamics, flight mechanics, CFD analysis, and propulsion systems.
Systems & Operations: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), avionics, air traffic control (ATC) systems, and maintenance technologies (MRO).
2. Aviation Management & Operations
Safety & Efficiency: Safety Management Systems (SMS), risk assessment, and human factors in aviation.
Air Transport Management: Airline operations, airport planning and design, aviation economics, and air law.
Sustainability: Green aviation technologies and sustainable aviation operations.
The journal explicitly excludes non-scientific commentaries, purely historical narratives without analytical depth, and popular magazine-style articles.
