Kawasaki Hastalığı ile Rhinovirüs Enfeksiyonu Birlikteliği

Abstract

Kawasaki hastalığı KH , sıklıkla 5 yaş altı çocuklarda gözlenen akut, sistemik ve ateşli bir hastalıktır. Etiyolojisi tam olarak bilinmemekle birlikte, genetik yatkınlığı olan bireylerde olası bir enfeksiyöz ajanın varlığı suçlanmakta- dır. Hastalığın enfeksiyon hastalıklarına benzer şekilde bulgu vermesi, belirli mevsimlerde ve bazı coğrafi bölge- lerde daha sık gözlenmesi enfeksiyöz etken varlığını güç- lendirmektedir. Başta, Parvovirus B19, Epstein-Barr Virus EBV , Cytomegalovirus CMV ve mikoplazma gibi çok sayıda etkenin KH ile ilişkili olabileceği düşünülmektedir. Biz de burada viral solunum panelinde Rhinovirus pozitif- liği ile beraber Kawasaki hastalığı bulunan 2 yaş kız vaka- yı sunmak istedik

Concomitancy Between Rhinovirus Infection and Kawasaki Disease

Abstract

Kawasaki disease KD is an acute, systemic, febrile disease which is mostly encountered in children under age of 5. Although the underlying etiology is not fully known, the pre- sence of an infectious agent in patients with genetic predispo- sition is often blamed. Clinical findings consistent with infec- tious diseases and high incidence during particular seasons on particular geographical regions reinforce the possibility of infectious agent. Numerous infectious agents including Parvovirus B19, Epstein-Barr Virus EBV , Cytomegalovirus CMV and Mycoplasma are the most common infectious agents related with KD. Herein we want to present our 2-year- old female child with Kawasaki disease associated with Rhinovirus infection positivity
