Çocukluk Çağı Tiroid Papiller Karsinomu Vakası

Abstract

Çocukluk çağında tiroid nodullerinin görülme sıklığı % 1-1.5 olup çoğunun benign olmasına karşılık birlikte çok küçük yaş, iyot eksikliği, baş ve boyuna radyasyon tedavisi uygulanmış olması ve muhtemel otoimmün tiroidit varlığı malignite riskini artırmaktadır. Bu makalede boyunda şişlik yakınması ile başvuran ve incelemeler sonucunda papiller tiroid karsinom tespit edilen 10 yaşında bir vakayı sunacağız.

A Case of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma in Childhood

Abstract

The incidence of childhood thyroid nodules is 1-1.5%. Although most thyroid nodules are benign, very young age, iodine deficiency, radiation therapy applied to the head and neck and the presence of autoimmune thyroiditis increase the risk of malignancy. We will present a ten-year girl with complaints of swelling in the neck. whose medical tests revealed the presence of a papillary thyroid carcinoma.
