Romatolojik Acil Yumuşak Damak Felci Gelişen Jüvenil Polimiyozit ve Diğer Jüvenil Polimiyozit ve Dermatomiyozit Vakaları

Abstract

Dermatomiyozit ve polimiyozit çocukluk çağında en sık görülen inflamatuvar kas hastalıklarındandır. Çocuklarda nadir olarak görülmesine karşın ciddi morbidite ve morta- lite nedenidir. Son yıllardaki tedavi için pek çok yeni ilaç geliştirme çabaları ve yeni ilaçlarla ilgili çalışmalar yayınlanmakta ise de, tedavisinde diğer romatolojik hasta- lıklarda kullanılan ilaçlar ve onkolojik ilaçlar kullanılmak- tadır. Kliniğimizde izlenen vakalarımız, Ender olarak görülmelerine karşın morbiditesi ve mortalitesi ağır olan bu hastalıkları hatırlatmak, tüm özellikleriyle tartışmak ve seyirleri sırasında romatolojik acil bir durum gelişebilece- ğini vurgulama amacıyla kliniğimizde izleyenenen vakalar sunuldu

Juvenile Polymyositis with Rheumatologic Emergency Soft Palate Paralysis and Other Cases with Juvenile Polymyositis, and Dermatomyositis

Abstract

Dermatomyositis and polymyositis are the most common inflammatory myopathies of childhood. They are seen rarely in children but they cause important morbidity and mortality. Though in current years, new drug improve- ment strategies, and studies on new drugs are being published, drugs used for other rheumatological , and also oncological diseases are being used for their treat- ment. We present the patients followed up in our clinic to remind and discuss the features of these rarely seen dise- ases with serious morbidity and mortality, and also to emphasize that a rheumatologic emergency might emerge during their course
