Aim & Scope

Dear Audience,

The Journal of Children’s Literature and Language Education aims to contribute to the advancement of scholarship in the fields of children’s literature, literature education, and language education. The journal seeks to enrich and develop the current body of knowledge by publishing high-quality, original research that addresses theoretical, methodological, and practical dimensions of these disciplines.

Within these fields, the journal strives to enhance the visibility of scholarly work produced by academics and researchers, to provide a dynamic platform through which developments in the field can be followed, and to foster academic dialogue at both national and international levels. In addition, each issue includes the introduction and critical evaluation of a fictional children’s book, thereby offering readers diverse literary and interpretive perspectives.

The Journal of Children’s Literature and Language Education is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research articles as well as book reviews and critical essays in the fields of children’s literature and language education. Since its launch in May 2018, the journal has been published in both English and Turkish.
