Türkiye'de fizyoterapide iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine ilişkin özel bir yasa gerekli midir?: Türkiye Fizyoterapistlerinin klinik deneyimlerine ilişkin bir araştırma

Abstract

Özet Amaç: Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon Bölümü ve ona bağlı kuruluşların meslek hukukunun gerekliliğini gerekçeleriyle birlikte belirterek, güçlü kamu çıkarlarının güçlendirilmesine ve ülke kalkınmasına katkılarının önünü açmaya çalışmaktır. Fizyoterapistlerin çalışma memnuniyeti için fizyoterapide iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine ilişkin özel bir kanuna ihtiyaç vardır. Yöntem: Bu çalışmada Türk Psikoloji Derneği'nin Psikoloji alanında gerçekleştirdiği Hak İhlalleri Araştırması, Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon Bölümü mezunlarına uygulandı ve bu bölümlerin meslek hukuku eksikliğinden kaynaklanan mevcut sorunlar tespit edildi. Hazırlanan anket Google formu aracılığıyla internete aktarılarak veriler 128 fizyoterapistin üye olduğu elektronik posta gruplarına gönderildi. Bulgular: En sık görülen görev tanımının belirlenmemesi (N: 117, %91,4), işyerinin gerektirdiği hizmeti, gerektirdiği eğitimi vermemesi (N: 114, %89,1), iş yükünün çalışanın kaldırabileceğinden ve/veya danışanı mağdur edecek kadar fazla olması (N:111, %86,7) olarak görülmektedir. Psikoloji gibi bir meslek hukuku bulunmayan iş gruplarının da benzer oranlarda hak ihlallerine maruz kaldığı gözlendi. Sonuç: Fizyoterapistlerin meslek kanunlarının olmayışı şüphesiz büyük bir eksiklik olup, bu eksikliğin ve hak ihlallerinin giderilmesine yönelik çalışmalar yapılmalıdır.

Does Turkey require specific legislation regarding occupational health and safety in the field of physiotherapy? A survey based on the clinical experiences of physiotherapists in the country

Abstract

Background/Aims: The aim is to try to pave the way for their contributions to strengthening strong public interests and country development by stating the necessity of the professional law of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and the organizations attached to it, with reasons. A specific law on occupational health and safety in physiotherapy is needed for the working satisfaction of physiotherapists. Methods: In this study, the Turkish Psychology Association's Rights Violations Survey conducted in the field of Psychology has been applied to the graduates of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and detects the existing problems arising from the lack of professional law of these departments. The prepared questionnaire was transferred to the internet via Google form and the data was sent to the electronic mail groups where 128 physiotherapists are members. Results: The most commonly observed violations of the task are not determined (N: 117, 91.4 %), the training required by the service required by the workplace (N: 114, 89.1 %), the workload is more than the employee can handle and/or the client is a victim seen in the survey results as (N: 111, 86.7 %). It has been observed that business groups, that do not have a vocational law such as a field of psychology, are also exposed to rights violations at similar rates. Conclusions: The lack of professional laws of physiotherapists is undoubtedly a major deficiency and studies should be carried out to eliminate this deficiency and rights violations.
